"First, we thought of doing a live show in a theater, which is a ton of work. But then Rae reached out to us and offered to use River, where our community could meet without us, which was key for us. That made sense, because while it feels good to be the center of attention, we’d rather use our content as a magnet to bring in cool folks together, and all we do is serve as the finding function for them to meet. Folks did the first meetup and kept meeting on a monthly basis. This is amazing."
